CAPE is one of my favorite events of the year. a free, one day con on free comic book day in Dallas, put on and organized by Zeus Comics.
if you're in dallas on May 3, go! you won't be disappointed!

i'm so excited, not only because i get to hang out with the cool darediva again or say hi to :icondivalea:, but i used my connections at work and got a snazzy banner for my booth.
i'm going to look...*gasp* professional! who knew?

trying to finish some art for a print to sell at CAPE. also, gotta make an image file of characters folks might request drawings of.

laptop is still messed up. you shouldn't have to remove the battery and hold the power button for 30 secs just to get it to boot. it also should be able to come out of sleep mode. *grumbles*

will post con report when i get back, plus links to photos.

did cute art for a tshirt design! go check out my lj for that!

Thanks! :) Yeah, I hope it's fun. I'm supposed to upsell the paper while I work - which shouldn't be hard theoretically, since I do like the pages - but I'm not sure if I can ink comics and talk at the same time. Hopefully it won't be any harder than caricatures, but we'll see. :)

Just busy getting ready for the National Craft and Hobby Show this weekend up in Anaheim. (We won't have a booth, but I'm drawing for Canson.) And then Wondercon is the week after that. So just busy busy trying to crank out pages.

Well, I can understand. I've been doing my web comic for over 7 years, and it's only because I update once a week that I keep my sanity!

Not sure if my comix will appeal. I'm a niche player. ^_^; But while you are cruising be sure to check out Kevin Hayman's "The Errant Apprentice" [link] Good fun for all ages.
